Amalaya Malbec

Amalaya Malbec

• D.O.: Salta - Valle Calchaquí.
• Variedades: Malbec, Syrah y Petit Verdot.

• Temperatura de servicio: Servir entre 17 y 18°C.
• Formato: 75cl.

• Wine Enthusiast 01/11/2012: 87 pts - "This smells of exotic blueberry and graham cracker, and it feels wide and solid, with herbal, woodsy flavors of juniper and plum. Dry and healthy on the finish, this made from 75% Malbec, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Tannat in the blend."
• Wine Spectator 31/07/2012: 89 pts - Smart Buys - "A racy, floral red, offering layers of raspberry ganache, blackberry and light fig fruit that mingle with spice, spring herb and light mesquite notes. Though not a powerhouse, this is well-balanced. Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat and Syrah. Drink now."
• Wine Advocate #228 - Dec 2016 – Luis Gutiérrez: 91 pts - "The entry-level wine is called 2015 Malbec, even if it still has some 10% Tannat and 5% Syrah in the blend. 25% of the volume matured in used French oak barrels for ten months. The palate is medium-bodied with great freshness and intensity, terribly tasty. This is so easy to drink, it can be dangerous..."
